Clinical trials Defined

Research studies that involve patients. Biotechnology companies typically use clinical trials to assess the efficacy and safety of new therapies and to answer scientific questions. Typically, there are 3 phases during a clinical trial. Phase I is designed to evaluate the safety of the product in humans; phase II analyses the effects of dose escalation, and phase III definitively evaluates the clinical efficacy of the product.

Pharma industry is worth Rs 78,000 crore: Economic Survey

The pharma industry in the country has grown from mere Rs 1500 crore turnover in 1980 to over Rs 78,000 crore in 2008, with about 10 per cent share in the volume of global production, according to the latest Economic Survey which called for decontrolling of prices.

One being ChinaSciNet with Wise, the Administator of Carecure. The other being Dr. Hans Keirstead & Geron (based in CA). As you have already spoken with Wise, I was wondering if you have ever relayed your treatment experience to Dr. Kierstead. You know he is a member of Carecure, you could easily e-mail him. As you are only the second patient in America to receive this treatment for cord injury, I would imagine he would be interested in your experience.
